VOP - One-Time or Low Commitment Opportunities:

Monthly weekend or limited series volunteer projects are scheduled based on community needs. Sites rotate each semester, so volunteers can participate in a variety of projects and community-based sites.

Check the Upcoming Events page to learn about VOP projects each semester.

Program Mission

The program serves to meet the varying needs of the local community by matching groups of individual volunteers with identified projects on a monthly basis throughout the school year.

Service, Goals & Projects

The Volunteer Opportunities Program (VOP) provides short-term or one-time volunteer projects for Humboldt students. Volunteers may join at any point in the semester. VOP is a great option for students who need lower commitment or flexible volunteer options.  Students may choose to volunteer once, a few times, or on an ongoing basis.
